What are the sizes and weight of the candles?

Our fully glazed ceramic vessels are 4 X 3.5 inches and hold 300g/ 10oz of wax and fragrance.

Our Bubble Thoughts decorative candle are about 2.3 x 2.3 x 2.3 inches and weight 170g/6oz.

How are Feels Familiar candles made?

Our candles are made in small batches and hand poured in our New Jersey studio.

Our vessels are fully glazed ceramic. We use luxurious coconut-soy wax blend which is vegan, non-toxic, and derived from renewable sources. Our decorative candles are made out 100% soy wax. Both waxes are used for cleaner burn. We use pure cotton wicks, blended with unique, clean, phthalate-free fragrance oils.

All Feels Familiar candles are hand poured in small batches which means each candle may be a little different

What are the fragrances made out of?

Our fragrances are made out of essential oils and are cruelty free, vegan, toxic-free, phthalate free, carcinogen free, and mutagen free.

How can I burn candles safely?

Here are a few rule of thumb to always follow.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Do not light the candle on or close to anything that can catch on fire.
  • Keep out of reach of children & pets.
  • When there’s only ½” of wax remaining, it’s time to part ways with your candle.

Each order from Feels Familiar include a candle care card which you can also access through our website. This also provides specific information on how to properly burn our candles.

Why is my candle burning unevenly?

To prevent tunneling it is important to let it burn approximately 2-3 hours when you first light your candle, OR until the candle wax reaches to the edge of the container before you extinguish your candle. Doing this will ensure an even burn throughout your candle's memory lifespan.

There is smoke when I light my candle. What do I do?

If you notice any smoke, trim the candle wick. Make sure the candle wick is always trimmed to 1/4" before each relight. Your first burn should be good to go if you follow the candle care card sent out with your order. When there’s only ½” of wax remaining, it’s time to depart with your candle. Clean out the remaining of the wax in the container if you’d like to reuse the container or you can buy a new candle.

Why was my candle delivered with an oily/uneven top?

If your candle was delivered with an uneven/oily top, it’s still safe to use. We use a low burn point, luxurious, coconut-soy wax which is clean burning and non-toxic. Once we ship our candles, we are not in control on what will happen. Weather and handling can affect our candles.


Shipping questions

U.S. Shipping

We ship via USPS, Fedex, and UPS (please be aware of the current situation and expect small delays). You will receive an email containing your tracking number once your package has shipped. 

Orders take 1-2 business days to be processed. Once an order is placed it may take up to 3-5 business days to be delivered.

Please be sure to triple check your address as Feels Familiar is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect, closed or undeliverable address. If your package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or business closure and is "returned to sender", Feels Familiar is not responsible for any shipping charges or fees. We're happy to ship your package back to a different address, but you will be asked to cover shipping costs for reshipment.  

Please be aware that Feels Familiar is not responsible for delayed transit times and damaged products once your order leaves the studio. We have no control over transit times and what happens during transit, Once packages are given to the mail carrier. Should your package become delayed, lost or arrive damaged, a claim will need to be filed with the shipping carrier. 

Any and all "return to sender" packages that incur due to a faulty address, business closure or undeliverable address are the responsibility of the customer to pay additional shipping fees to reship. 

Once packages leaves our studio it's no longer our responsibility.

International Shipping

At this time we do not offer international shipping. We hope to in the future.


Returns questions

Returns & Refunds

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it and get a full refund for the price you paid for the products.

You can return your order for up to 30 days from the date your order was shipped.
All products you return must be in the same condition you received them and in the original box. Packaging and seals must be intact and unbroken. Product unused. A refund will be issued for the price paid for the products only. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Damages

We package each candle/product with care. If your candle happens to arrive broken or please email info@feelsfamiliar.com your order number and a picture of your damaged candle, within two (2) days of receiving, we will take care of you.

Lost packages will need to be filed with the shipping carrier as we have no control over what happens during shipments.
